Help McGovern Medical School Class of 2026 reach their class gift goal!
As the Class of 2026 prepares to take the next step in their medical careers, the McGovern Medical School community has a meaningful opportunity to give back in celebration of their journey.
The White Coat Ceremony is a major milestone in every medical student’s journey, and the Class of 2026 wants to ensure the next generation gets to experience this meaningful tradition without the burden of paying for their white coat. The Class of 2026 understands the importance of this symbolic gesture, as they received their own white coats thanks to the generosity of donors who came together to invest in their medical journey at McGovern Medical School.
This year, the Class of 2026 is proud to continue that tradition through their Class Gift Campaign, with a goal of raising $18,000 to provide white coats for the incoming class — that's 240 coats! By contributing, you help celebrate this important rite of passage and show each student that they are supported by a community that believes in their future.
A gift of $75 provides one student with a white coat, but every donation, no matter the amount, empowers these future physicians to begin their journey with confidence and pride, just as it did for the Class of 2026. No matter your connection to McGovern Medical School — as a student, alumnus, family member, friend, or staff — your support helps shape the future of medicine.
Together, we can help the Class of 2026 reach their goal and and welcome the next generation of McGovern physicians who will follow in their footsteps with pride.
