The journey to become a physician is long, but at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, there is a unique opportunity to help our students start off their medical careers in the most positive way.
This special fundraising initiative, now in its fifth year, raises funds to provide cherished white coats to first-year medical students that they will receive in a memorable White Coat ceremony. Each year, our community rallies together by funding these white coats to deliver a vote of confidence to these students, propelling them on their path of learning so that they can embody the school's ideals of excellence, humanism, and compassion.
