Few things are as beautiful as the smile on a child’s face, but those bright smiles can be hard to find for children whose families have no access to dental care. Some of these children have never been to a dentist and suffer from oral health concerns ranging from painful cavities that make it difficult to concentrate in school to discolored teeth that can harm their confidence—but you can help them.
Make a gift on Giving Tuesday to support Give Kids a Smile—an annual event hosted by UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. Dental students, residents, faculty, and local professionals provide free cleanings, fillings, fluoride treatments, and education on how to care for teeth and gums. With your partnership, hundreds of children will receive the dental care they need, improving their oral and overall health.
