Dr. Bailey serves as Professor in the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and leads UT Physicians Colon and Rectal Clinic. His leadership has shaped UTHealth Houston into a premier center for colorectal surgery, where our experts conduct more procedures for colorectal cancer than any other group in Texas. He has expanded the field by building one of the country’s largest and most distinguished Colon and Rectal Surgery Residency Programs, having trained experts who are today practicing across the United States.
