Dear Classmates,
This spring we will have an exciting opportunity to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our graduation from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
Join us at Alumni Weekend on March 25 and 26 to reminisce about our time at McGovern Medical School, reconnect with old friends and classmates, and see how the school has grown and developed since we began our careers as physicians.
We will also have the chance to help today’s students face the challenges of medical school in a health landscape unlike any we have seen. Together, we can support their efforts by contributing to an area meaningful to each of us at McGovern Medical School. For example, by giving to the Alumni Association Scholarship, you can reduce the financial burdens and help them graduate with less debt. A donation to the White Coat Fund, can help provide white coats to medical students, launching their careers with a symbolic vote of confidence as they follow in your footsteps.
A gift of any size to the fund of your choice made between September 1, 2021, and August 31, 2022, will count toward the class gift and help the class of 1992 come out on top in the fundraising challenge!
This weekend will offer an unforgettable chance to enjoy each other’s company, see the future of medicine at work, and reflect on the meaningful and rewarding journeys we have embarked on since we left McGovern Medical School. Thank you for continuing to set an example as a McGovern Medical School graduate and considering a gift to support the next generation of physicians. We hope to see you in March!
