Beetar, DDS, MS, Award, you can help drive and inspire rising stars in prosthodontics as they improve dental comfort, appearance, and health for patients of all ages.
For more than 45 years, Rodney F. Beetar, DDS, dedicated himself to providing exceptional prosthodontics care and training dental students to follow in his footsteps at the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics at UTHealth School of Dentistry. With a lifelong passion for dental education—and an abundance of wit, compassion, and patience—Dr. Beetar spent his days mentoring students, residents, and faculty and encouraging them to constantly strive for excellence.
In memory of Dr. Beetar, his colleagues and friends established the Rodney F. Beetar, DDS, MS, Award to continue his extraordinary legacy of supporting prosthodontics education. The award will recognize and encourage fourth-year dental students, residents, and faculty who go above and beyond in prosthodontics advocacy and education.
